Born on 14 August 1972 in Brno. Between 1994 and 2000 he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Prague (Architecture and Design Studio). In 2000 he commenced work as an assistant at the Architecture and Design Studio, independent work on interiors and design in the babák - tobola studio. From 2001 he has worked on the Magnumdesign project together with Roman Soukup. Among his references are furniture and industrial for ICOS Ltd. London (UK), KFF design Lego (D), Husky CZ s.r.o. Praha, Tunnel s.r.o. Praha, MM Interier Luhačovice, FAMU Praha. He has also designed, together with Ondřej Tobola, interiors for Marvil s.r.o. Praha; Scream s.r.o. Kolín; Asys s.r.o. Kolín; the trade fair presentation company ICOS Ltd. London (UK), MM Interier Luhačovice, Husky CZ s.r.o. Praha, Oskarplast s.r.o Praha, Apmart s.r.o Praha. He has prepared the following exhibitions: Czech industrial design 50s – 80s (NTM Prague), studio Pelcl (Moravian Gallery Brno), A. Serrano (Galerie U prstenu, Prague), The Way to School (Municipal House, Prague - with Ondřej Tobola, Petr Babák), Designair - AAAD Prague - with Michal Malášek. He has participated in 21 joint exhibitions, 10 of these abroad.
Awards: furniture design - Ranný Architects, Prague - commended; 1997 ETA - visions, household appliances (with Jan Tuček) – 2nd prize; 1998 First Berendsohn Award Hamburg - Germany (with Eva Vontorová) – 3rd cena; 1999 MIELE Stopka s.r.o. - kitchen for the 3rd millennium - 1st prize; 2000 DESIGN 2000 , Design Centre, Prague, with the Museum of Decorative Arts, Prague PUR light fittings collection - commended; 2003 trade fair presentation for Husky CZ s.r.o. - commended by the Design Centre, Prague.
