Francis Duffy

Born in the UK in 1940. He graduated from the Architectural Association School in London in 1964, the University of California in Berkeley in 1969 and received his doctorate from Princeton University in 1974. From 1993 to 1995, he was the President of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). He is an important creator of methods and techniques for optimising modern working places. He also plays an important role in globally spreading awareness about the issue of office space use and organization at the academic level and through the  publications he has written for the general public. He lives and works in New York and London.
